What we do
Originally the Vancouver office started as a west coast distribution-
and supply centre for the Florimex International group, mainly
supplying greens (Salal and Beargrass).
However, over the years our activities have changed significantly.
Today Florimex Vancouver Inc. has evolved into a buying service for
fresh flowers and floral related products for large volume users.

Our office is located at unit 1- Roseberry Square - 3979 Marine Way in Burnaby, BC Canada.
Our business, however, is done all around the Globe. We purchase and sell anywhere in the world where floral products are grown, and/or needed.
We have shipped products to, and from wherever possible, or required.

We service a large variety of customers; from retail florists to large wholesalers and growers; from individual grocery stores to large chain
stores; from event planners to the Marine industry.

Flowers, plants, greens, pottery live, dried and artificial...
You name it... We’ve done it.

We can never be everything to everybody but we can be very good and
very effective for some strategic partners.

History
The Vancouver office of Florimex was established in 1988 as Florimex (Western) Inc., part of Florimex International (a worldwide Flower Distribution Company). At that time Florimex International had 49 offices worldwide, including 3 in Canada; Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Together these 3 formed Florimex Canada.

In 2001 Florimex Canada was sold to their respective managers, separated ownership from Florimex International and formed three independently owned companies in Canada.
Florimex Vancouver Inc. was established.

All 3 Canadian branches continue to operate as privately owned, individual profit centers. Florimex International is now owned and operated by a Dutch investment company.
